The closest international airport is at Queenstown, a 50 minute drive along a scenic highway. There is also a daily flight into Wanaka from Christchurch.
Wanaka lies on the shores of Lake Wanaka, New Zealand’s fourth largest lake, and is a gateway to the spectacular Mount Aspiring National Park.
